PREVIEW: What Comes Next for Us? The Exodus out of Egypt

"That which has been is that which will be,
And that which has been done is that which will be done.
So there is nothing new under the sun."
- Ecclesiastes 1:9

"History does not repeat itself, but it rhymes." - attributed to Mark Twain

To Know the Future, Look at the Past

Recently the Lord opened my eyes to a powerful prophetic parallel in the Bible. This moment in history we are in right now is mirrored by the exodus of the Israelites out of Egypt. Ahead of us are a series of increasingly severe plagues on the land. At a time when our backs are against a wall, God will part the Red Sea and deliver us by his mighty hand out of Egypt. Except we will go up through the heavens instead of through water. This is the rescue of the saints - the Rapture. We will spend a time in the wilderness, nourished by God, just as He did for the Israelites with daily manna. Except our wilderness is a dwelling place in our Father's house in heaven. Then we will return, cross the Jordan River, defeat the Canaanites and occupy the Promise Land. Instead of carrying the ark of the covenant across the Jordan River, we will follow the KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS on white horses through an opening in the heavens. The battle of Armageddon will ensue. Jesus Christ, the Lion of Judah, and his heavenly army will emerge victorious over the beast and the armies of earth. Finally, Jesus Christ will reign from Jerusalem for 1,000 years over a restored earth, the new Promise Land!

The Bible is full of prophetic symmetry, where one event or person signifies and portends another in the future. God the Father designed the story line of history to unfurl like a flower. Movements build one upon another. His genius hand arranged for the themes of the exodus, the wilderness and the Promise Land to repeat like poetry in the end times.

Key That Unlocks the Mystery - Eagles' Wings

The symbolism of eagles' wings in Revelation 12 and Exodus 19 is a key establishing the prophetic parallel between the exodus from Egypt and end-times events.

Revelation chapter 12 is a profound passage that covers a broad sweep of history and flows into end-times prophecy. The passage is poetic and metaphorical. The woman represents God's people, Israel, the Church. The dragon represents Satan and the third of the stars of heaven that he swept from the sky represent the angels that followed him in rebellion against God. The male child who will rule all the nations with a rod of iron represents Jesus the Messiah.

"And when the dragon saw that he was thrown down to the earth, he persecuted the woman who gave birth to the male child. But the two wings of the great eagle were given to the woman, so that she could fly into the wilderness to her place, where she was nourished for a time and times and half a time, from the presence of the serpent." - Revelation 12:13-14

When the dragon is cast out of second heaven (his current residence) and thrown down to earth in the end times, he will persecute the woman. But God will give her two wings of a great eagle to fly away to safety in the wilderness, where she will be nourished for a time and times and half a time. The last part is a euphemism for three and a half years, which matches the 42 months of the beast will be allowed to reign on earth:

"There was given to him a mouth speaking arrogant words and blasphemies, and authority to act for forty-two months was given to him." - Revelation 13:5

Flying away on eagles' wings is the same metaphor the Lord God used to describe how he brought the Israelites out of Egypt:

"Moses went up to God, and the Lord called to him from the mountain, saying, 'Thus you shall say to the house of Jacob and tell the sons of Israel: "You yourselves have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I bore you on eagles’ wings, and brought you to Myself."'" - Exodus 19:3-4

In Exodus, the eagles' wings represent God's miraculous deliverance from Egypt - the plagues on the land, the pass over and especially the parting of the Red Sea. The Israelites walked across on dry land, but the waters fell on and drowned the pursuing Egyptian army. In Revelation, the eagles' wings represent the miraculous end-times rescue of the saints that we call the Rapture.

Where did God bring his people, according to the Exodus passage? To Himself! The Israelites encountered the presence of God on Mountain Sinai, just as we will encounter God on his holy mountain in the heavens.

The analogy continues with the wilderness. The Israelites spent 40 years in the wilderness nourished by God. He provided them food daily with manna from heaven and their sandals and clothes never wore out. In the same way, the raptured saints will be nourished in heaven, away from the presence of the dragon on earth, during the 42 months of the Great Tribulation.

In End-Times Bible Prophecy, the Temple Is the Human Body

Many Christians believe that a third temple will be built to fulfill end-times Bible prophecy. They believe the Antichrist will set up “the abomination of desolation” inside the temple and desecrate it. This is an understandable but mistaken interpretation. Unfortunately, it is also preventing many from realizing how late the hour is. Since the third temple is not built, they reason, we must not be in the end times or at least we have many years before the dramatic events in Bible prophecy unfold. Both assumptions are false. In end-times Bible prophecy, the “temple” is the human body and the abomination of desolation refers to a mass triggering of Satanic control over human bodies and souls.

Please take the following message to the Lord and ask him to confirm whether it is true. Far too many Christians are asleep. Like the foolish virgins in Matthew 25, they lack oil in their lamps and are not prepared for what is now unfolding.

Prophecies of Daniel

The prophecies in Daniel 8 – 12 are profound and multi-layered. They refer to two times and epochs, one that played out in the centuries immediately after Daniel and before the coming of Jesus Christ, and another that will occur at the end of this age.

In 169 B.C., Antiochus Epiphanes conquered Jerusalem, massacred many Jews and plundered the temple. The following year he set up an altar to the pagan god Zeus in the temple. Zeus represents the chief god of the pagan pantheon, the sun-god. From a Hebrew perspective, Zeus represents the head fallen angel leading mankind astray, otherwise known as the devil or Satan. In other words, this was an altar to Satan in the temple of the Lord, fulfilling the prophecy in Daniel chapter 11:

"Forces from him will arise, desecrate the sanctuary fortress, and do away with the regular sacrifice. And they will set up the abomination of desolation." - Daniel 11:31

Antiochus Epiphanes is the King of the North in Daniel’s prophecy. He is also a figure or type of the Antichrist King that will appear at the end of this age, according to Daniel, Revelation and 2 Thessalonians. Somewhere around verse 31 or 36 in Daniel 11, the prophecy begins to speak more directly about the Antichrist King. Chapter 12 is all about the end of this age.

Prophetic Symmetry

The Antiochus-Antichrist pair is an example of prophetic symmetry, where one person or event represents and portends another that will happen later. Prophetic symmetry is found throughout the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. For example, as Moses led the Israelites out of Egypt, the Lord instructed each household to sacrifice a lamb and paint its blood on the door posts and lintels of their houses. This signified to the Lord to pass over that house during the final plague of Egypt – death to the firstborn. This amazing deliverance is commemorated every year at the Passover meal. Nearly 1,500 years after the exodus from Egypt, Jesus Christ was sacrificed on Passover at the exact time when the Passover lamb is supposed to be sacrificed. His blood delivers us from spiritual death and reconciles us with God. The Passover lamb was a metaphor that prefigured the ultimate sacrifice of the Lamb of God.

A related example is Abraham’s virtual sacrifice of his son Isaac on Mount Moriah, which prefigured God’s actual sacrifice of his Son. It even happened in the same place – Mount Moriah is located in Jerusalem!

The biblical view of history is not a linear timeline of disconnected events. Instead, it is like the unfurling of an exquisite flower, where movements build one upon another. A small sprout from the soil portends a grown stalk, and the appearance of a bud signifies the blooming of a flower. Events are timely, orchestrated and purposeful, reflecting the genius hand of our Creator through time and history. Each part of Scripture interconnects and interrelates with the whole of it, like a living organism. Thus the endless layers and infinite riches of the Word of God!

Please note that prophetic symmetry does not mean an event happens the same way twice. Jesus Christ was a man, not an actual lamb, and his blood does not save us from bodily death, but from the death of our spirits, which is eternal estrangement and disconnectedness from God. In other words, the first instance is a metaphor or representation of the ultimate fulfillment.

This is also where the error comes in for believing a third temple will be built that the Antichrist King will desecrate. That is what Antiochus Epiphanes did, which was a metaphor for what will happen in the end times. The ultimate abomination of desolation will be much more profound than erecting a pagan altar in a temple building.

The Temple Is the Human Body

Under the old covenant, the temple was a building dedicated to the worship of God and containing his Presence. The Hebrew word that is sometimes translated temple or sanctuary in the Old Testament is “qodesh.” It means holy thing or holy place. The meaning of this word is not limited to a building.

Early in his ministry, Jesus set the precedent for what the temple will be under the new covenant in his blood. The following dialog took place after Jesus drove the money changers out of the temple in indignation, overturned tables and poured out their coins:

"The Jews then said to Him, ‘What sign do You show us as your authority for doing these things?’ Jesus answered them, ‘Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.’ The Jews then said, ‘It took forty-six years to build this temple, and will You raise it up in three days?’ But He was speaking of the temple of His body." – John 2:18-21

There it is – the temple as a body, a human body.

The moment Jesus died on the cross, the curtain of the temple in Jerusalem was torn top to bottom and the earth shook. This event signified God's Presence and power would no longer dwell in a temple in Jerusalem. Instead, God's Spirit and Presence would dwell in our bodies – leading, empowering and teaching us – as Jesus had promised.

The Apostle Paul stated it this way:

"Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own?" - 1 Corinthians 6:19

This arrangement fulfills what God promised to the prophets long ago:

"Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols. Moreover, I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; and I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will be careful to observe My ordinances." – Ezekiel 36:25-27

Furthermore, the analogy extends to sacrifices. Under the old covenant, animals were sacrificed at the temple to worship and honor God. Sacrifices are now defined as righteous acts of obedience to God that we carry out through our bodies. In that sense, we are "living sacrifices":

"You also, as living stones, are being built up as a spiritual house for a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ." - 1 Peter 2:5

"Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship." - Romans 12:1

In summary, this is the new arrangement of the new covenant:

  • Body = Temple
  • Holy Spirit = Presence of God in us
  • Righteous acts of obedience = Sacrifices

Abomination of Desolation

Based on the metaphor of a pagan altar in a sanctuary, combined with the understanding that the temple is now the human body, we can conclude that the abomination of desolation will consist of satanic altars placed inside human bodies.

Here is what Jesus said about the abomination of desolation:

"Therefore when you see the ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION which was spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place (let the reader understand), then those who are in Judea must flee to the mountains. Whoever is on the housetop must not go down to get the things out that are in his house. Whoever is in the field must not turn back to get his cloak. But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! But pray that your flight will not be in the winter, or on a Sabbath. For then there will be a great tribulation, such as has not occurred since the beginning of the world until now, nor ever will. Unless those days had been cut short, no life would have been saved; but for the sake of the elect those days will be cut short." - Matthew 24:15-22

Jesus said in effect: “Run for the mountains! Don’t turn back! Pray your flight does not happen in the winter or on the Sabbath!” Would a pagan altar set up in a sanctuary provoke this kind of urgent response? Jesus said this event and the ensuing tribulation would be so terrible that if the days weren’t cut short, no one would be left alive. There is something extremely serious going on here. Notice the parenthetical “let the reader understand.” This is another way of saying: “Really think about the meaning here, because it isn’t the obvious one.” If we were simply talking about a pagan altar in a sanctuary, that phrase would be unnecessary.

The satanic altars placed in human bodies essentially will be points of access and control that allow Satan to hijack people’s bodies and souls to carry out evil deeds. This will happen on a mass scale, which is why Jesus’ warning was so urgent.

How? Satan has had thousands of years to figure this out and he’s got it down to a science. The methods include:

  • Mind control established through satanic ritual abuse (SRA), dissociative identity disorder (DID) and advanced technologies
  • DNA manipulation
  • Demonic spirit possession and influence
  • Weaponized viruses and other forms of disease

More detail on these topics is in these articles:

God Is in Control

God is in control of everything and we have nothing to fear. All of this will end magnificently to his glory and honor, hallelujah. He loves us. The power of God is far greater than anything the enemy can throw at us. God will increase his anointing on and through us to beat Satan’s agenda.

But we have to draw near to him, humble ourselves, repent and allow him to heal us. We have to build our faith to the point where it would be normal to receive supernatural, miraculous answers to prayer. This is how we can stand strong, advance God’s kingdom and oppose the satanic agenda now unfolding.

If Christians are waiting for a third temple to be built and thinking there is plenty of time and everything is normal, let me tell you, we do not have time. There may never be a third temple and Bible prophecy does not require it.

Jesus is coming soon! The Four Horsemen have already begun to ride. Soon enough they will encircle the globe. If there ever was a time for the Bride to prepare, it is now.

The Lord God Has Spoken to America - Part 2

[For the first half of this message, see The Lord Has Spoken to America - Part 1]

"Come here, I will show you the judgment of the great harlot who sits on many waters, with whom the kings of the earth committed acts of immorality, and those who dwell on the earth were made drunk with the wine of her immorality." - Revelation 17:1-2

I want to start by saying there is always hope in the Lord. Even during a time of national judgment, there is hope of reconciliation with God through his son Jesus Christ. There is hope of shining brightly and leading many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever. In Christ, death has lost its sting, because at the moment of passing Jesus' promise to the thief on the cross is for us too: "Today you will be with me in Paradise."

Fallen America

We have to discern the times we are living in. Noah understood he was living in the days of the Great Flood, so he built an ark to save his family and, by extension, humanity as well as the animals. Joseph understood he was living in a time of great famine, so he stored up grain to save the people of the earth. Two thousand years ago, the religious establishment in Israel, the Pharisees and Sadducees, did not understand the time of their visitation and missed the first coming of the Messiah. These examples in Scripture were written to instruct and to warn: We should understand our times and prepare for what will come.

With our own eyes, we can see how America has fallen.

  • America has become a nation of bloodshed at home (abortion) and abroad (endless foreign wars). This has gone on for so long that many people embrace it as normal. But we should not forget what God said to Cain, the first man born on earth, after he slew his brother: "What have you done? The voice of your brother’s blood is crying to Me from the ground."
  • The "free love" movement and sexual promiscuity of 1960s has metastasized into today's culture of ubiquitous pornography and total sexual and gender fluidity. Young adults and even children are taught sexual preference and gender identity is subject to personal whimsy and choice. How far we have strayed from God's standard established in the garden of Eden: "For this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother, and be joined to his wife; and they shall become one flesh."
  • Pop culture has surpassed even gratuitous sex and violence. It now portrays blatant satanic rituals onstage, such as Katy Perry's "Dark Horse" performance at the 2014 Grammy Awards. This is idolatry, Old-Testament style, in the face of God's command: "You shall have no other gods before Me." - Exodus 20:3
  • Once upon a time, America had a solid economy built on productivity, ingenuity and a dollar backed by gold. Today the national economy is a pyramid scheme fueled by endless debt, outsourced manufacturing, money printing, war and a dollar backed by nothing. Like all pyramid schemes, it is designed to transfer wealth from the many to the few at the top before it collapses. This is a sophisticated form of theft, in the face of God's command: "You shall not steal." - Exodus 20:15
I could continue. But is plain to see America has fallen from grace. In fact, the nation is in abject rebellion with God.

A casual read of the Old Testament will tell you what happens to a nation that persists in rebellion with God. God delivers it over to judgment. The nation will experience catastrophes and destruction in order that a remnant of its people might be spiritually saved. This is not God's plan A, nor plan B, but a severe last resort.

Some may think, "That can't happen here. This is America. You shouldn't be so negative."

The books of Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Amos, Hosea and other prophets were similarly negative and admonishing, because they were written to a nation in rebellion with God, just like America. God in his mercy sent prophets to warn Israel and Judah for many decades and called them to repentance. But the people's hearts were hard and unresponsive, and the injustice had to end, so the nation was delivered over to a series of judgments and ultimately destroyed by the armies of Assyria and Babylon. This was done so a remnant might be saved, and indeed a remnant was saved.

Has God spoken to America through prophetic voices? The answer is absolutely YESGod has spoken to America and warned for decades through many different men and women. In recent years and months the voices have reached a crescendo. The message now is that America is under judgment.

Prophetic Voices to America

Below is just a sample of people who I believe have received genuine prophetic messages for America. There are many more out there. Please take these messages to the Lord and ask him to confirm whether they are true.

"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him." - James 1:5

DAVID WILKERSON:

David Wilkerson was the Founding Pastor of Times Square Church in New York City. He was called by the Lord to New York in 1958 to minister to gang members and drug addicts, as told in the best-selling book that was made into a movie, The Cross and the Switchblade.

In 1973, Wilkerson received a detailed end-times vision in which he saw terrible calamities and great events coming to America and the world. A worldwide economic recession that starts in Germany and goes around the world, including America. Nature having labor pains - major earthquakes, famine, floods, hurricanes - increasing in frequency and intensity as the Day of the Lord approaches. A flood of XXX media in America that would make Playboy Magazine look puritanical. Rebellion in the home and hatred toward parents. A persecution against Spirit-filled Christians such as mankind never before witnessed. The rise of a super world church council consisting of liberal ecumenical protestants and the Roman Catholic Church that will become a political union engaging in antichrist activities. Christ's true church will go underground and grow in spiritual power and unity.

Many elements of Wilkerson's vision have come to pass, and others are unfolding in our time. Wilkerson believed this vision will be fulfilled in this generation. Click here to listen to David Wilkerson's end times vision when he first presented it in 1973.

DUMITRU DUDUMON:

Dumitru Dudumon was a Romanian preacher and Bible smuggle during the Communist era who was tortured in prison for his faith and later sent into exile. Though he spoke no English, God called Dudumon to America in 1984 to preach a message of judgment, repentance and forgiveness. He passed away in 1997.

In September 1984, shortly after arriving in America, Dumitru was visited by an angel of the Lord and taken into a vision where he was shown the destruction of America in a coordinated attack by Russia and other nations. You can see a video testimony of the vision and a text version here. A subsequent vision in 1996 detailed the involvement of China, Cuba and (North?) Korea as well.

To understand how Dudumon's vision aligns with Bible prophecy, please see these articles:

NATHAN LEAL:

Nathan Leal is a minister in Northern Idaho who was called in 2005 as a watchman to report the things that are coming on America. Nathan shares prophetic dreams and insights on his website called Watchman's Cry. Here are some prophetic dreams:

ALI WINTERS:

Ali Winters is a humble servant of the Lord feels called "to sound the alarm, alerting the sheep, awakening those that slumber." She shares prophetic words on her blog, A Watchman on the Wall. Here is an excerpt from a post dated April 11, 2016:

"The days grow dark that are coming upon My dear ones. You cannot escape the judgement. Rain falls on the just and unjust alike. I Am your anchor, your shelter amid all storms and you will not be shaken. Those who cling to Me will see the salvation of their LORD.  They will not be moved. Reach out to others in the days ahead. Reach out to establish relationships, reach out to become an anchor for those who need to know the truth from the lies...

The walls, the walls will crumble. Spiritual wickedness in high places will be exposed. Your nation will experience much evil in the weeks and months ahead. Your eyes will brim with tears, hearts will grow faint as you see what becomes of your once grand nation.

Times of joy, times of testing. Times of doubt, fear, hope, courage and strength. My children will experience much to challenge their resolve to follow Me in the times ahead. Darkness blankets the earth as evil spreads her net over nation after nation. The unholy will rejoice, the holy will weep and mourn. Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people."

RACHEL BAXTER:

Rachel Baxter is a wife and mother of four children. She felt called by God to help establish the Lord’s Mountain of Education and has a heart to see children and adults alike set into the destiny God has for them. In 2014 she founded Valor Christian Academy Omaha. That same year the Lord began to speak to her about the things that are coming upon the earth from His redemptive judgments and from the plans of the enemy. Here are some of Rachel's dream and visions:

Prepare For Battle, The Time Has Come
I Am Raising Up the Josephs
An Event Will Occur That Will Begin World War 3 and There Is No Stopping It

JOANIE STAHL:

As a young Jewish girl, Joanie Stahl received Jesus as her Messiah and soon began receiving dreams and visions of world events. At first these gifts scared her, so she asked for them to cease. Instead, they increased and she surrendered her will to God's. Today, Joanie is a wife and mother. She believes the time has come for the “Bride to make herself ready,” which is why she now feels released to share her dreams and visions received during the past 40 years as warnings of things that will soon take place. Here are some of Joanie's dreams and visions:

God's Judgment of America Is Set in Stone
The Great Shepherd Is Urgently Calling Many People Right Now
Unexpected Dark Valleys and Magnificent Victories Coming in 2016

Conclusion

For those who have eyes to see by faith, the times we live in are very clear.

I believe the time for warning is over. Judgment has begun and will soon accelerate. If our faith is in any worldly system, institution or person, it will be shattered. If our faith is in the eternal word of God and his promises to us, we will stand against the coming storm.

Shepherds need to prepare their flocks for the storm.

"And He was also saying to the crowds, "When you see a cloud rising in the west, immediately you say, 'A shower is coming,' and so it turns out. And when you see a south wind blowing, you say, 'It will be a hot day,' and it turns out that way. You hypocrites! You know how to analyze the appearance of the earth and the sky, but why do you not analyze this present time?" - Luke 12:54-56
