What This Nation Needs Is a Moment of Repentance

While some talk about fighting for our constitutional rights and exposing the globalist/communist agenda, what our nation really needs is a moment of repentance. This is the message of Jonah, who the Lord God sent to Nineveh of the Assyrians to preach judgment and repentance. The people of Nineveh did respond - from the king down to the livestock - and God relented:

"By order of the king and his nobles: No man or beast, herd or flock, is to taste anything at all. They must not eat or drink water. Furthermore, both man and beast must be covered with sackcloth, and everyone must call out earnestly to God. Each must turn from his evil ways and from the violence he is doing. Who knows? God may turn and relent; He may turn from His burning anger so that we will not perish." - Jonah 3:7-9

The hard times coming to this country are a judgment from the Lord God for this nation's bloodshed (abortion, endless foreign war), theft (exacting tribute from the rest of the world through war and the petrodollar system), sexual perversion and promiscuity, injustice, idolatry (elevating worldly "idols" over true worship of God), and churches that have watered down His message in the Scriptures.

Has America repented like Nineveh? No, it hasn't, but it needs to.
