Berry McGuire Had It Right in the 1960s


While driving into town this morning, the old, 1960s anti-war song "Eve of Destruction" by Berry McGuire started to play on the radio. As I listened to McGuire's rough, gravelly voice sing the lyrics, the song resonated so much with me right here, right now in 2015. 

Not asking for sympathy, but I have to say it's been a heavy burden to know what I do and try to relate to the 95% of the people who have no clue. Apathy, fear and delusion are everywhere. "But you tell me over and over and over again, my friend, ah you don't believe we're on the eve of destruction."
