Many Christians believe that a third temple will be built to
fulfill end-times Bible prophecy. They believe the Antichrist will set up “the
abomination of desolation” inside the temple and desecrate it. This is an
understandable but mistaken interpretation. Unfortunately, it is also
preventing many from realizing how late the hour is. Since the third temple is
not built, they reason, we must not be in the end times or at least we have
many years before the dramatic events in Bible prophecy unfold. Both
assumptions are false. In end-times Bible prophecy, the “temple” is the human
body and the abomination of desolation refers to a mass triggering of Satanic
control over human bodies and souls.
Please take the following message to the Lord and ask him to
confirm whether it is true. Far too many Christians are asleep. Like the
foolish virgins in Matthew 25, they lack oil in their lamps and are not
prepared for what is now unfolding.
Prophecies of Daniel
The prophecies in Daniel 8 – 12 are profound and
multi-layered. They refer to two times and epochs, one that played out in the
centuries immediately after Daniel and before the coming of Jesus Christ, and
another that will occur at the end of this age.
In 169 B.C., Antiochus Epiphanes conquered Jerusalem,
massacred many Jews and plundered the temple. The following year he set up an
altar to the pagan god Zeus in the temple. Zeus represents the chief god of the
pagan pantheon, the sun-god. From a Hebrew perspective, Zeus represents the
head fallen angel leading mankind astray, otherwise known as the devil or Satan.
In other words, this was an altar to Satan in the temple of the Lord,
fulfilling the prophecy in Daniel chapter 11:
"Forces from him will arise, desecrate the sanctuary
fortress, and do away with the regular sacrifice. And they will set up the
abomination of desolation." - Daniel 11:31
Antiochus Epiphanes is the King of the North in Daniel’s
prophecy. He is also a figure or type of the Antichrist King that will appear
at the end of this age, according to Daniel, Revelation and 2 Thessalonians.
Somewhere around verse 31 or 36 in Daniel 11, the prophecy begins to speak more
directly about the Antichrist King. Chapter 12 is all about the end of this
age.
Prophetic Symmetry
The Antiochus-Antichrist pair is an example of prophetic
symmetry, where one person or event represents and portends another that will
happen later. Prophetic symmetry is found throughout the Bible from Genesis to
Revelation. For example, as Moses led the Israelites out of Egypt, the Lord
instructed each household to sacrifice a lamb and paint its blood on the door
posts and lintels of their houses. This signified to the Lord to pass over that
house during the final plague of Egypt – death to the firstborn. This amazing
deliverance is commemorated every year at the Passover meal. Nearly 1,500 years
after the exodus from Egypt, Jesus Christ was sacrificed on Passover at the
exact time when the Passover lamb is supposed to be sacrificed. His blood
delivers us from spiritual death and reconciles us with God. The Passover lamb
was a metaphor that prefigured the ultimate sacrifice of the Lamb of God.
A related example is Abraham’s virtual sacrifice of his son
Isaac on Mount Moriah, which prefigured God’s actual sacrifice of his Son. It
even happened in the same place – Mount Moriah is located in Jerusalem!
The biblical view of history is not a linear timeline of
disconnected events. Instead, it is like the unfurling of an exquisite flower,
where movements build one upon another. A small sprout from the soil portends a
grown stalk, and the appearance of a bud signifies the blooming of a flower.
Events are timely, orchestrated and purposeful, reflecting the genius hand of
our Creator through time and history. Each part of Scripture
interconnects and interrelates with the whole of it, like a living organism.
Thus the endless layers and infinite riches of the Word of God!
Please note that prophetic symmetry does not mean an event
happens the same way twice. Jesus Christ was a man, not an actual lamb, and his
blood does not save us from bodily death, but from the death of our spirits,
which is eternal estrangement and disconnectedness from God. In other words,
the first instance is a metaphor or representation of the ultimate fulfillment.
This is also where the error comes in for believing a third
temple will be built that the Antichrist King will desecrate. That is what
Antiochus Epiphanes did, which was a metaphor for what will happen in the end
times. The ultimate abomination of desolation will be much more profound than
erecting a pagan altar in a temple building.
The Temple Is the Human Body
Under the old covenant, the temple was a building dedicated
to the worship of God and containing his Presence. The Hebrew word that is
sometimes translated temple or sanctuary in the Old Testament is “qodesh.” It
means holy thing or holy place. The meaning of this word is not limited to a
building.
Early in his ministry, Jesus set the precedent for what the
temple will be under the new covenant in his blood. The following dialog took
place after Jesus drove the money changers out of the temple in indignation,
overturned tables and poured out their coins:
"The Jews then said to Him, ‘What sign do You show us as
your authority for doing these things?’ Jesus answered them, ‘Destroy this
temple, and in three days I will raise it up.’ The Jews then said, ‘It took
forty-six years to build this temple, and will You raise it up in three days?’
But He was speaking of the temple of His body." – John 2:18-21
There it is – the temple as a body, a human body.
The moment Jesus died on the cross, the curtain of the
temple in Jerusalem was torn top to bottom and the earth shook. This event
signified God's Presence and power would no longer dwell in a temple in
Jerusalem. Instead, God's Spirit and Presence would dwell in our bodies –
leading, empowering and teaching us – as Jesus had promised.
The Apostle Paul stated it this way:
"Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy
Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your
own?" - 1 Corinthians 6:19
This arrangement fulfills what God promised to the prophets
long ago:
"Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be
clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols.
Moreover, I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; and I
will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I
will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you
will be careful to observe My ordinances." – Ezekiel 36:25-27
Furthermore, the analogy extends to sacrifices. Under the
old covenant, animals were sacrificed at the temple to worship and honor God.
Sacrifices are now defined as righteous acts of obedience to God that we carry
out through our bodies. In that sense, we are "living sacrifices":
"You also, as living stones, are being built up as a
spiritual house for a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices
acceptable to God through Jesus Christ." - 1 Peter 2:5
"Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God,
to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is
your spiritual service of worship." - Romans 12:1
In summary, this is the new arrangement of the new covenant:
- Body =
Temple
- Holy
Spirit = Presence of God in us
- Righteous
acts of obedience = Sacrifices
Abomination of Desolation
Based on the metaphor of a pagan altar in a sanctuary,
combined with the understanding that the temple is now the human body, we can
conclude that the abomination of desolation will consist of satanic altars
placed inside human bodies.
Here is what Jesus said about the abomination of desolation:
"Therefore when you see the ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION
which was spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place (let
the reader understand), then those who are in Judea must flee to the mountains.
Whoever is on the housetop must not go down to get the things out that are in
his house. Whoever is in the field must not turn back to get his cloak. But woe
to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days!
But pray that your flight will not be in the winter, or on a Sabbath. For then
there will be a great tribulation, such as has not occurred since the beginning
of the world until now, nor ever will. Unless those days had been cut short, no
life would have been saved; but for the sake of the elect those days will be cut
short." - Matthew 24:15-22
Jesus said in effect: “Run for the mountains! Don’t turn
back! Pray your flight does not happen in the winter or on the Sabbath!” Would
a pagan altar set up in a sanctuary provoke this kind of urgent response? Jesus
said this event and the ensuing tribulation would be so terrible that if the days weren’t cut short, no one
would be left alive. There is something extremely serious going on here. Notice the
parenthetical “let the reader understand.” This is another way of saying:
“Really think about the meaning here, because it isn’t the obvious one.” If we
were simply talking about a pagan altar in a sanctuary, that phrase would be
unnecessary.
The satanic altars placed in human bodies essentially
will be points of access and control that allow Satan to hijack people’s bodies and souls to
carry out evil deeds. This will happen on a mass scale, which is why Jesus’
warning was so urgent.
How? Satan has had thousands of years to figure this out and
he’s got it down to a science. The methods include:
- Mind control
established through satanic ritual abuse (SRA), dissociative identity disorder
(DID) and advanced technologies
- DNA
manipulation
- Demonic
spirit possession and influence
- Weaponized
viruses and other forms of disease
More detail on these topics is in these articles:

God Is in Control
God is in control of everything and we have nothing to fear.
All of this will end magnificently to his glory and honor, hallelujah. He loves
us. The power of God is far greater than anything the enemy can throw at us.
God will increase his anointing on and through us to beat Satan’s agenda.
But we have to draw near to him, humble ourselves, repent
and allow him to heal us. We have to build our faith to the point where it
would be normal to receive supernatural, miraculous answers to prayer. This is
how we can stand strong, advance God’s kingdom and oppose the satanic agenda
now unfolding.
If Christians are waiting for a third temple to be built and
thinking there is plenty of time and everything is normal, let me tell you, we
do not have time. There may never be a third temple and Bible prophecy does not
require it.
Jesus is coming soon! The Four Horsemen have already begun
to ride. Soon enough they will encircle the globe. If there ever was a time for
the Bride to prepare, it is now.

This is a great post, i have thought about this temple building interpretation and how a large part of christians are looking for the temple to be built. And if it dont and the Ac comes on the scene, very many will be at loss. What just happened and loose their faith in the bible!
Its me Stig from Jc southwest forum here writing.
Thanks for the comment, Stig! God bless.
The new temple has been built. It stands in Manhattan where once stood the twins. The 9/11 museum was completed on May 14, 2014, the dedication period was May 15 to May 20, 2014, and was opened to the public on May 21, 2014.
The second passover, as provided for in the law of Moshe, for those who were unable to observe the first passover due to having touched a corpse, fell on May 14, 2014. The following seven days are reflective of the seven days of unleavened bread that followed the first passover. The first passover, according to the correct system of counting days, falls on the fourteenth day of the first month, called Abib; this day is not a Sabbath. The first day of unleavened bread falls on the fifteenth day of the first month; this day is a Sabbath. The last day of unleavened bread falls on the twenty first day of Abib; this day is also a Sabbath.
There is a contingent of 'Jews' who were directly involved in the planning and execution of 911. There is another contingent of 'Jews' who saw the events as politically favourable to Israel. The vast majority of regular everyday Jews, and, likewise, Americans, are completely clueless regarding the the hidden machinations behind 911.
Christians, even those whose faith is strong, are blinded to reality by their 'christian coloured glasses'; take them off and look at what is. Many tout the number seven as possessing some mystical quality, in accordance with its liberal use within the scriptures, yet few dare to make the observation that seven buildings were demolished on September 11, 2001. Or that there were seven days from the dedication of the 911 museum to its opening, and just happened to fall on the second passover. To appoint the opening on the first passover would have been too obvious, so it was planned for the second passover to provide a hidden message to those who were 'in the know'. No christian will dare make reference to anything that may offend the Jewish sensibilities lest he be branded as 'anti semitic'. This state of affairs is amply described in the book of Apocalypse.
And isn't it curious that YahuShua himself said 'It is finished' on the day of passover. On May 14, 2014, the announcement that the museum 'is completed' sounds eerily similar. Someone is making a mockery of YahuShua's sacrifice, and the 'sacrifice' of those murdered on that day. Those who planned 911 see them as human sacrifices, and have dared to blend this repugnant notion with YaHuWaH's commandments and His Feast Days. Woe to them.
Wake up America AND Israel; you are being deceived.
@ Mark - insightful perspective. I agree 9/11 and the One World Trading Center have significance for the globalists behind the New World Order. 9/11 was a blood sacrifice. But I wouldn't call the people behind it Jews. They are Satanists. Synchronizing their activities with Hebrew feasts is a way of mocking God.
