The Day of the Lord Is Near!

The Day of the Lord is coming soon! God has impressed on me several times recently how He looks forward to this magnificent day.

What is the Day of the Lord? This is when the nations of the world gather their armies to attack Israel, and Jesus himself comes down to Jerusalem leading the armies of heaven to defeat the enemies of God and bind Satan for a thousand years. This Day is also the moment when the house of Israel, the Hebrew people as a nation, finally recognize Jesus as their messiah and embrace him. After the battle, Jesus will establish his throne in Jerusalem and reign for a thousand years on earth. We will no longer have governments run by men since Jesus himself will rule from Jerusalem as King of kings. This time is also creation's Sabbath rest, when the lion lies down with the lamb and there is finally peace on earth, after 6,000 years of striving under the fall of man and dominion of Satan.

The Day of the Lord is the final battle and culmination of this age, and marks the beginning of the Millennial Kingdom. I believe the Lord wants us to realize this Day is coming soon and to look forward to it with the same anticipation and enthusiasm He does!

------
On January 3, 2015, 10:44 a.m., I was sitting in a cabin in the mountains of Idaho and had read this passage in Ezekiel:

"In My zeal and in My blazing wrath I declare that on that day there will surely be a great earthquake in the land of Israel. The fish of the sea, the birds of the heavens, the beasts of the field, all the creeping things that creep on the earth, and all the men who are on the face of the earth will shake at My presence; the mountains also will be thrown down, the steep pathways will collapse and every wall will fall to the ground."
- Ezekiel 38:19-20

Then I heard the window frames squeak and felt the floor shake. It felt like an earthquake! It was! Later in the day I pulled up the Drudge Report and saw an article about an earthquake in Challis, Idaho:

http://www.idahostatesman.com/2015/01/03/3571708_49-earthquake-hits-challis-reportedly.html?rh=1

But it was more than an earthquake. God was telling me something: Pay attention to the earthquake, pay attention to the details in the passage. I looked at other prophetic passages in Scriptures with similar details (the Lord coming to defend Israel, the sun and moon darkened, earthquakes, Mount of Olives split in two, etc.) and realized they all referred to the same event. They are all descriptions of the Day of the Lord:

  • Zechariah 9:10-17 - The Lord of hosts appears over Israel and defends his people
  • Zechariah 12-14 - The Lord defends Jerusalem and the people turn to him in repentance
  • Joel 2-3 - The Day of the Lord and the great army of God
  • Matthew 24:27-31 - The Coming of the Lord
  • Revelation 16:16-21 - Battle of Armageddon.
  • Revelation 19:11 to 20:3 - The Lamb of God rides on a white horse with a sword, leading the armies of heaven to defeat the enemies of God, the beast, the false prophet and Satan.
By reading all of these passages, you will have a great understanding of that magnificent day.

Here is a summary of events of the Day of the Lord:

  • In the latter days of this age, the Jews will return to inhabit the land of Israel and live securely. This has been fulfilled, and continues to happen as Jews from around the world move to Israel.
  • A great army of many nations from far and near will gather to attack Israel. God's fury will arise against the attacking army.
  • The sun and moon will be darkened and the stars will fall from the sky.
  • Jesus will appear in the sky as a warrior king leading the armies of heaven to battle the enemies of God.
  • Those who went up to meet the Lord in the air during the Rapture will ride in the army of heaven. At this time, we will have immortal bodies like the angels. (See Revelation 19 and pay close attention to what the bride of the Lamb and the army of heaven are wearing. It's the same!)
  • There will be a great earthquake in Israel. The Mount of Olives will be split from east to west.
  • The people of Israel will fight as mighty warriors with the Lord defending them. Even so, two-thirds of the people will perish, and one-third will come through the fire, refined as silver and tested as gold.
  • There will be a great panic among the soldiers in the invading army, and they will turn against one another. Fire, hail and brimstone will fall on them and a plague will rot their flesh.
  • The invading army will be completely destroyed and birds will eat their flesh. It will take seven months for Israel to bury all the fallen soldiers.
  • All the nations will know the Lord is the Holy One of Israel.
  • The house of Israel will weep in repentance and embrace Jesus as their Messiah, and God will pour out his Spirit on them.
  • Jesus, the Lamb of God, will be king over all the earth with his throne in Jerusalem.
  • "And in that day the mountains will drip with sweet wine, and the hills will flow with milk, and all the brooks of Judah will flow with water; and a spring will go out from the house of the Lord to water the valley of Shittim." - Joel 3:18
-------
I am convinced God very much looks forward to this Day. If He didn't, He wouldn't have mentioned it so many times in Scripture!

So where are we in the timeline of apocalyptic events? I believe it goes like this:

1) The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse ride (right now).
2) Rapture
3) Great Tribulation - 42 months of Satan's one-world beast kingdom
4) Day of the Lord
5) Millennial Kingdom of Christ
6) New Heaven and New Earth - eternity with God

In the meantime, eyes on Jesus and persevere to the end!

Seek Justice, Walk Righteous, Be Shrewd as the Devil

I just wanted to pass along what the Lord has impressed on me about how to operate in the days ahead:

"Seek justice,
Reprove the ruthless,
Defend the orphan,
Plead for the widow."
- Isaiah 1:17

Seek justice. In this verse, the God is pointing out what Israel needed to do to repent and turn back to him. The people's failure to seek justice provoked God's anger and judgment against Judah and Jerusalem.

Note that seeking justice has two aspects:

  1. Stand up against oppressors.
  2. Stand up for the oppressed.

"Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves; so be shrewd as serpents and innocent as doves."

- Matthew 10:16

Be shrewd as the devil and walk righteous. If there is ever a time when Jesus' disciples are going out as sheep among wolves, it is the days ahead.

Serpents, in this verse, are a metaphor for the devil. And wow, is the devil shrewd! Jesus wants his children to be as shrewd as the devil: Wise, knowing, clever, canny.

The other half of this verse is to walk in the ways of the Lord: Love, truth, righteousness.

"But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, unwavering, without hypocrisy."
- James 3:7

Finally, be at peace. God is a God of peace.

Wake Up, You Live in The Matrix #6 - Google searches are censored

I just wanted to let you know that in spite of Google's corporate motto, "Don't be evil," it is evil. Google is a front end for the NSA that feeds data about you and me to the government. But now Google is also censoring search results to conform with government propaganda.

As an example, the chart below shows daily traffic to my blog over the last month. Notice that in the last week traffic has fallen drastically. Well, my blog stopped receiving nearly all Google search referrals about a week ago, even though prior to that point Google search referrals were growing. Why? I believe Google censored my blog so it doesn't appear as high in the rankings. Instead of coming up on, say, page 1 or 2, it is more like page 100. So people can't find it.

So if you are searching on a controversial topic, don't use Google. I would use Ixquick.com, duckduckgo.com or goodgopher.com instead, or one of the credible news and information sites listed in this blog post:

http://mystic2020.blogspot.com/2015/03/wake-up-you-live-in-matrix-4-corporate.html

P.S. Dave Hodges at The Common Sense Show confirmed that Google is censoring information on its search engine about the Jade Helm martial law drill:

The Washington Post and Google Conspire to Conceal the Truth about Jade Helm 15

Google began censoring this blog after I posted the Alex Jones video about Jade Helm.

P.P.S. By the way, shadowbanning is a term for when social media or Internet search companies artificially suppress a person's content, website or account in their rankings. It is a deceptive way to censor. Google, Facebook and Twitter all engage in this practice to shape public opinion and push ideological agendas.

Wake Up, You Live in The Matrix #5 - One Minute to Midnight

The 16-minute video segment below by Alex Jones is a must-watch. You need to understand how long the take-down of America has been in the works, and how late the hour is:

Be Sealed for Divine Protection

This is a follow-on to the Four Horsemen post.

Last weekend I felt led to read Ezekiel chapters 1-12. I believe these prophetic Scriptures apply to America today as they did to ancient Jerusalem prior to its destruction by Babylon. Note the punchline at the end of Ezekiel 12. Time is up. More on this in a later post.

Something else important jumped out to me in Ezekiel 9. Here is the whole chapter:

Then He cried out in my hearing with a loud voice saying, "Draw near, O executioners of the city, each with his destroying weapon in his hand." Behold, six men came from the direction of the upper gate which faces north, each with his shattering weapon in his hand; and among them was a certain man clothed in linen with a writing case at his loins. And they went in and stood beside the bronze altar.

Then the glory of the God of Israel went up from the cherub on which it had been, to the threshold of the temple. And He called to the man clothed in linen at whose loins was the writing case. The Lord said to him, "Go through the midst of the city, even through the midst of Jerusalem, and put a mark on the foreheads of the men who sigh and groan over all the abominations which are being committed in its midst." But to the others He said in my hearing, "Go through the city after him and strike; do not let your eye have pity and do not spare. Utterly slay old men, young men, maidens, little children, and women, but do not touch any man on whom is the mark; and you shall start from My sanctuary." So they started with the elders who were before the temple. And He said to them, "Defile the temple and fill the courts with the slain. Go out!" Thus they went out and struck down the people in the city. As they were striking the people and I alone was left, I fell on my face and cried out saying, “Alas, Lord God! Are You destroying the whole remnant of Israel by pouring out Your wrath on Jerusalem?”

Then He said to me, "The iniquity of the house of Israel and Judah is very, very great, and the land is filled with blood and the city is full of perversion; for they say, 'The Lord has forsaken the land, and the Lord does not see!' But as for Me, My eye will have no pity nor will I spare, but I will bring their conduct upon their heads."
Then behold, the man clothed in linen at whose loins was the writing case reported, saying, "I have done just as You have commanded me."

------------------------------------------

When God judges a nation, calamity falls on everyone. Like war or natural disaster, no one is spared.

However, God will protect a remnant, a group who of people who are his own and seek refuge in the Almighty. See Psalm 91. Even as judgment falls on America, God will literally send an army of angels to protect his people.

From this passage in Ezekiel, notice the characteristics of a person who the Lord seals for divine protection: Those who sigh and groan over the sins and abominations of the nation. What feelings would cause the sighing and groaning? Mourning, sadness, shame, revulsion. Those who feel as God does about the waywardness of a nation are the ones he chooses to seal. God wants his people to see our nation through his holy eyes, not through the eyes of a fallen world.

In contrast, who is not sealed?

  • The rebellious - Those who are participating in and promoting the rebellion, corruption and idolatry. They are subject to judgment.
  • The deluded - Those who deny the extent of corruption and spiritual decay of a nation, and thereby become accomplices in it. By the way, the idolatry of false patriotism keeps many people in a state of denial. This is a view of America as some paragon of virtue that is justified no matter what sins she commits. No matter how many people she kills in foreign wars, no matter how many unborn babies killed, no matter how much perversion and idolatry flow from her. I believe America was founded as a righteous nation. I am patriot of the American Republic that once was. But America today is fallen and lawless. Babylon is fallen.
  • The apathetic and indifferent - Those who simply don't care. These are the people absorbed in their own selfish pursuits, making sure they get theirs, enjoying the worldly pleasures of life, and who don't much care about the decay and corruption around them, certainly not to the point of moaning and sighing.
My friends, you don't want to face what's coming without the protection of the Lord. Please wake up, seek the Lord and be sealed.

One more thing. When God judges a nation, it is always with an eye toward putting an end to the abominations and paving the way for healing and restoration:

Therefore the Lord God of hosts,

The Mighty One of Israel, declares,
"Ah, I will be relieved of My adversaries
And avenge Myself on My foes.
"I will also turn My hand against you,
And will smelt away your dross as with lye
And will remove all your alloy.
"Then I will restore your judges as at the first,
And your counselors as at the beginning;
After that you will be called the city of righteousness,
A faithful city."
- Isaiah 1:24-26

The Four Horsemen Have Begun to Ride

I am going to make a bold, unsettling statement that I believe is true. Then I'll explain why I believe it.

The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse have mounted and begun to ride. By this I mean the horsemen in the vision of Apostle John that is recorded in Revelation 6, which bring conquest, war, famine, privation and death in their wake. The horsemen are soon coming to America.

That's the bad news. The good news is an even greater event is tucked into Revelation 6 - Jesus is coming!

How Can We Know That?

By faith.

Some will ask how I or anyone can possibly know such a thing. Well, I've already written about how Jesus gave us the Holy Spirit to lead us into all truth. Jesus said his sheep hear his voice, and they follow him. I've also written here and here about how the spirit of prophecy is alive and well, and God in his mercy forewarns his people about what is coming so they can prepare for it.

Can I prove indisputably the Four Horsemen have begun to ride? Not any more than I can prove God exists or that Jesus' blood reconciles us with him. I believe these things by faith, the evidence of things not seen.

"By faith Noah, being warned by God about things not yet seen, in reverence prepared an ark for the salvation of his household, by which he condemned the world, and became an heir of the righteousness which is according to faith."
- Hebrews 11:7

(By the way, the time to build an ark is before the flood. Once the rains begin, it's too late.)

What's Coming Next?

In the fall of 2013 I woke up to the realization that America is on a very dangerous path. I realized things are not as they seem on the surface, that the conventional understanding of history, economics, politics and geopolitics are woefully inadequate. We are heading into financial, social, political collapse and war. I spent a year studying these topics and, metaphorically speaking, drinking from a fire hose to understand the times we are living in. It was overwhelming at times, and there were days I was simply in mourning for what's coming on our nation. But it was a mercy to be awakened and to have this time to absorb this reality, make peace with it, and prepare spiritually, intellectually, emotionally and materially.

Just before last Thanksgiving, I asked, "Now what, Lord? What's coming next?"

I listened to a radio interview of John Shorey about the end times events in Revelation 6 and elsewhere. He discussed various wars and how he believed that the Pale Horse that brings death over one quarter of the earth includes the destruction of Mystery Babylon in Revelation 17-18. I am convinced America is Mystery Babylon (more on this in a later post), so that got my attention. Shorey also said that he thought the Rapture appears in Revelation 6:12-17, which had also occurred to me. All of this resonated. The more I thought and prayed about it, the more I sensed the Lord impress on my heart Revelation 6. As in, that is the answer to my prayer. That is what's coming next.

I shared this with my wife. A day or two later we drove home from Seattle. Crossing a barren stretch of Eastern Washington, everyone had quieted down and the kids were asleep. I flipped on the radio and there was a man reading Bible scriptures. He said, "Next we are going to read... Revelation chapter 6." He proceed to read the whole chapter. Wow, that was a confirmation.

When I got home, I heard the evangelist Anita Fuentes read the latest prophetic dreams from Pastor T.D. Hale, who has had other prophetic dreams about Obama and America, some of which have already been fulfilled. In the latest dreams, the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse mounted and began to ride. There it was again! Also in his dream, lights all around the world shot up into the sky, which I think is a reference to the Rapture.

After that, my mom shared a vivid dream of her own. In it a black horse was trying to stomp on her, but she stood to the side of it and had it by the reins. People were telling her to watch out, but she said it was okay, she had it under control. I told her that is probably the Black Horse in Revelation 6, which brings famine and privation.

Later my mom had another dream that featured a pale green horse. She took out a wash cloth, wet it and said that was the color of it. I don't why I know this, but the Greek word for pale in Revelation is 6 is chloros, which is the root for English words like chlorine and chlorophyll, implying a shade of green. Chloros can mean pale or ashen as well as sickly green. My mom saw the Pale Horse in her dream.

The Four Horsemen

Folks, the Four Horsemen are coming. Please read Revelation 6:1-8 for the details, but here is a summary:

  • White Horse - Conquest. Carries a bow and wears a crown.
  • Red Horse - War and violence. Carries a great sword.
  • Black Horse - Famine and privation. It says a quart of wheat costs a denarius, which is a day's wages. Imagine if you had to spend a whole day's wages to buy enough wheat to feed one person. That's famine.
  • Pale Horse - Death. Given authority over a fourth of the earth to kill by sword, famine, pestilence and wild beasts. By the way, wild beasts can mean animals but also can have a metaphorical meaning of "savage beasts." Those of you who are familiar with Genesis 6 and the days of Noah, think Nephilim and Rephaim.

For people who are living in the Middle East, North Africa, Ukraine and Nigeria, one could argue the Four Horsemen have already begun to ride. ISIS, Boko Haram and other Islamic militant groups are conquering and slaughtering and enslaving people by the tens of thousands, especially Christians. Millions have been displaced and fled to other regions or refugee camps and suffer privation. In Ukraine, the death toll from the NATO vs Russia proxy war is probably around 50,000 according to German intelligence services, though you won't hear that from the American lamestream media.

Slain for the Word of God

In Revelation 6:9-11, after the fifth seal is broken, the souls of those who were slain for their faith in Jesus cried out and asked, "How long, O Lord, holy and true, will you refrain from judging and avenging our blood on those who dwell on the earth?" They were given a white robe and told to wait a little while longer until the number of those slain should be completed.

Remember the 21 Coptic Christians who recently were beheaded by ISIS militants on a beach in Libya? Even as the blades were brought to their necks, they all cried in unison, “Ya Rabbi Yasou" or "O My Lord Jesus." They are now in heaven and among those crying out for justice.

The Rapture and the Wrath of the Lamb

After the sixth seal is broken, there is an earthquake, the sun turns dark and the moon like blood, the stars fall and the sky splits apart like a rolled-up scroll. This is exactly the imagery that accompanies the return of Jesus Christ in Matthew 24 and Isaiah 13. The people of the earth, or I should say those who remain, are shaken with fear and say to the mountains and rocks, "Fall on us and hide us from the presence of Him who sits on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb; for the great day of their wrath has come; and who is able to stand?"

Whose presence and wrath are they afraid of? Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God, because he is there! This is the moment of deliverance for God's people, when we are spirited away to heaven before the great tribulation

However, those who are enemies of Christ, who reject him, must remain for the tribulation, which is the wrath of the Lamb. This is described in more detail in Revelation chapters 8-11. But God is merciful, and even those who go into the tribulation can yet call out to him and be forgiven.

144,000 from the Tribes of Israel Sealed

A few days ago I came to understand that Revelation chapters 6-11 are chronologically sequential, as are Revelation 17-21.

So, moving on to Revelation 7:1-8, you can see how the events of the wrath on earth are temporarily halted while 144,000 people from the tribes of Israel are sealed for protection. Why? Because the Hebrews as a people embrace the Messiah at the very end of the great tribulation, on the Day of the Lord, the Battle of Armageddon, when Jesus himself returns to defend Jerusalem against the nations of the world (see Zechariah chapters 12-14). God makes sure a remnant is preserved to the very end.

The Multitudes before the Throne of God

Next the scene switches to heaven where a great multitude from every tribe and nation stands before the throne of God and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes (representing purity) and praising God.

It says these are the saints who came out of the great tribulation and have been made clean by the blood of the Lamb. Do you see? These are the ones who were removed from the BEGINNING of the great tribulation, during the Rapture! (For more Scriptures about the Rapture and its general timing, click here.)

"They shall hunger no more, neither thirst anymore; neither shall the sun beat down on them, nor any heat; for the lamb in the center of the throne shall be their shepherd, and shall guide them to springs of the water of life and God shall wipe every tear from their eyes."

Just a Little Bit Longer

We really have only a little bit longer to go. Prepare yourself for the Four Horsemen and keep your eyes on Jesus because he is coming soon!

Wake Up, You Live in The Matrix #4 - Corporate and Grassroots Media are Manipulated

Here is a great 10-minute talk by Sharyl Atkisson, one of the few mainstream journalists I admire and who unreservedly pursues the truth:

Astroturf and manipulation of media messages, Sharyl Attkisson, TEDx UniversityofNevada

We know the corporate media is corrupt and controlled, but Atkisson describes the sophisticated methods that the establishment uses to manipulate the masses with nonprofits, professional societies and the Internet. It is troubling.

The Whole World in the Power of the Evil One

About a year and half ago I began to wake up to the full extent of deception in the institutions we are taught to trust, like government, academia, corporations and media. It was a rude awakening and overwhelming at times. The further down the rabbit hole I went, the more massive and sinister the lies became. However, after seeing through the deception, the world began to make sense when it didn't before. In that way it was liberating.

For instance, I saw the Democrat vs. Republican, left vs. right political paradigm is a deception. It is designed to engage the public in a false, hopeless drama while the power elite control the core of both parties, advancing their agenda incrementally. I realized the solution to our problem wasn't to be found in national politics.

Eventually I reached the bottom of the rabbit hole and found myself face to face with the devil himself, or at least his work in the world. This isn't surprising if you take the Scriptures at face value.

"...the whole world lies in the power of the evil one." - 1 John 5:19

"...the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving..." - 2 Corinthians 4:4

Satan isn't a metaphor or abstraction. He is in fact a powerful and highly intelligent angelic entity - a cherub to be specific. He is the "god" (with a lower case g) of this age and the whole world is under his sway. The angels who followed Satan in rebellion against God are just as real. They are inter-dimensional beings who interfere with and exert control over the affairs of men. In the ancient world, these beings posed as gods for men to worship. Where do you think the pantheon of Greek gods came from ? Or ancient Egyptian or Babylonian gods? Or Mayan and Aztek gods? These weren't simply products of the fertile imaginations of men. These were actual beings who offered worldly power, wealth and pleasure in exchange for worship and moral corruption.

These days, fallen angels like to pass themselves off as visitors from other galaxies. By that I mean aliens. But that's a topic for another time.

If Scriptures say the whole world lies in the power of the evil one, is it surprising that the media establishment has been co-opted for propaganda and disinformation? If Satan is the father of lies who blinds the minds of the unbelieving, doesn't it make sense that he uses a matrix of deception to manipulate and enslave? If Satan masquerades as an angel of light, isn't his best deception to appear good while selling a huge lie?

However, many assume that worldly institutions and conventional wisdom are truthful and good, unless clearly and obviously shown otherwise. I'm afraid this is naive. Christians should be more skeptical and discerning. Jesus said, "Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves; so be shrewd as serpents and innocent as doves." Jesus wants his children to be as shrewd as the devil, while walking uprightly. So it's important to do our homework and think for ourselves to get at the truth

Otherwise we're going to get played. And these days the stakes are high.

The Media Good Guys

Below is a list of the sources of news, information and analysis that I believe are credible and worthwhile. Please note I am not saying everything these sources say are always correct. Exercise your own judgment and discernment. But they are genuine seekers of truth.

The last two I would say are sort of half mainstream and half alternative, but still offer much good information.

WARNING: These sources are constantly being hacked and attacked by certain agencies and entities. They receive death threats. The time is soon coming when these sources will no longer be available. At some point, the Internet will be censored or completely shut down. So get up to speed now. Your window of opportunity is short.

The Media Bad Guys

Below is a list of the corporate controlled, government propaganda, bought-and-paid-for, matrix of deception media shills.

  • ABC (Already Been Chewed)
  • NBC (Nothing But Crap)
  • CBS (Can't Believe this Stuff)
  • CNN (CIA News Network)
  • MSNBC (MSDNC)
  • Fox News (The Best Conservatives Money Can Buy)
  • The New York Times
  • Washington Post
  • The Wall Street Journal (The War Street Journal)
  • The Economist
  • Glenn Beck (Pretends to be alternative media, but is sold out)
  • Every local network news show
  • Every local mainstream newspaper, most of which are owned by corporate conglomerates

I'm sorry, but if you get your information from these sources, you cannot possibly understand what is happening in the world. The truth is being systematically kept from you.

Remember, the best lie is a partial truth. A story can be 95% true, but that last 5% is what pushes you down the wrong path. Or the news outlets give you 80% of the least important stories, while withholding the 20% that is absolutely essential. It all amounts to deception.

Modern End Times Prophesies - Dudumon, Gruver, Leal, Kleck

For Part One of this post, see Turn on Your Spiritual Radar, Or Else.

Below are five watchmen and harbingers of the end times who, in my opinion, genuinely walk with the Lord and have very important, astonishing messages to share. Though these men have separate & distinct callings and ministries, you will notice significant overlap and convergence in their messages. That's an indicator the same Spirit speaks to them all.

As always, take the messages to the Lord for confirmation.

Dumitru Dudumon - A Romanian preacher and Bible smuggle during the Communist era who was tortured in prison for his faith and later sent into exile. Though he spoke no English, God called Dumitru to America in 1984 to preach a message of repentance and judgment. He passed away in 1997.

Turn on Your Spiritual Radar, Or Else

The #1 reason why Christians do not comprehend the times we are in is they have turned off their spiritual radar.

Imagine you are flying an airplane on a sunny, warm day. No clouds anywhere and winds are mild. The flat ground is well below you. You take in the scenic view from the sky. Flying in this environment is a piece of cake.

Now imagine you are flying at night on a dark, stormy, moonless night. Clouds are everywhere, and wind and rain are buffeting the plane. Visibility is no better than 200 yards out. Ground elevation is rising, but you do not know it. A mountain range is approaching, but you cannot see it. There is other air traffic in the area, but you have no idea where. You're in danger because you cannot see. You don't know what's coming until it is already upon you, and then it's too late to prepare and maneuver.

However, if your airplane had a radar system, you could see everything in spite of the darkness. You would see dangers approaching in time to respond.

God gives his people spiritual radar - it is prophecy. What is prophecy? Prophecy is direct revelation from the Lord for the purpose of exhorting, encouraging and warning people and giving insight about what is happening now and what is coming in the future. To see what prophecy looks like, read the books of Revelation, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, or the minor prophets like Joel, Zechariah, Micah and Habbakuk. Those books are compilations of prophetic revelation. The dreams and visions in the Book of Daniel are prophecy, as is God's promise to Abraham that he would bless him and make him a great nation.

Prophecy is supernatural. It comes right from the throne room of God. The Bible is full of examples of God giving direct revelation to people in the form of dreams, visions, utterances, a burning bush, a message from an angel, writing on the wall, a talking donkey - you name it! God speaks any way he chooses.

Moreover, the gift of prophecy is still in operation. People have this gift of direct revelation today, as the following verses teach clearly and plainly:

"'And it shall be in the last days,' God says, 'That I will pour forth of My Spirit on all mankind; And your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams; Even on My bondslaves, both men and women, I will in those days pour forth of My Spirit and they shall prophesy.'" - Acts 2:17-18

This verse as quoted by the Apostle Peter is originally from the book of Joel. Peter was announcing its fulfillment in these last days, which is the time we are in between the first and second comings of the Messiah. Before the pouring of the Holy Spirit, prophetic revelation was uncommon and limited to designated individuals like prophets. In this age, the gift of prophesy has become common - sons and daughters, young and old, people of all walks and positions will prophesy. This doesn't mean everyone has this gift, but someone in your church or Christian community should.

"Pursue love, yet desire earnestly spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy." - 1 Corinthians 14:1

While all spiritual gifts are valuable and necessary, the Apostle Paul clearly says the most important is prophecy. Why? Because it provides direct revelation from God to build up the body of Christ.

"Do not quench the Spirit; do not despise prophetic utterances. But examine everything carefully; hold fast to that which is good." - 1 Thessalonians 5:19-21

After Paul admonishes not to quench the work of God's Spirit, the very next instruction is not to despise prophetic utterances. I'll put it differently: If you want to quench the Spirit in your life, ignore the gift of prophecy. Of course, we should test every message and make sure it is from the Lord. True prophecy does not contradict the Bible; it clarifies and applies it. God gives us discernment to help us see which messages are really from him.

The problem is many Christians and churches have tossed out the gift of prophecy and turned off their spiritual radar. They are flying blind on a dark, stormy night. Why is this, if the Bible's teaching on this is clear? I call it groupthink unbelief. No one in their community believes in this gift, so they don't either. But God does not judge us by whether we follow the crowd. He judges by whether we follow him. Unbelief is sin. Again, this does not mean everyone should have the gift of prophecy, but we should all be listening to people who do.

The Christian walk is supposed to be supernatural. Jesus said his followers will do greater works than him. That's astonishing! I know I haven't done anything remotely that great. Perhaps we all need to stretch our faith and believe bigger.

My point here is that all Christians should understand that we are at the doorstep of the end. God has been proclaiming the times loudly through many different people, as well as through events unfolding in the world. "Now learn the parable from the fig tree: when its branch has already become tender and puts forth its leaves, you know that summer is near." (Matthew 24:32) Judgment is coming upon America. Satan's one-world beast government will soon be established. Jesus is coming! God has raised up many watchmen and harbingers who are testifying and prophesying about these coming events.

In the follow up to this post, I will list some people who I believe are credible watchmen of the end times and provide links to their messages.

This Is The Rapture - Bible Verses

For Part One of this post, see This Is The Rapture!

Jesus is coming soon! He will gather his church in the air and spirit them away before the wrath of God is poured out on earth and Satan's full mayhem is unleashed in the form of the New World Order.

There is a lot of debate about the Rapture, even among the wisest and most knowledgeable of the Scriptures. The reason why is it has been concealed! First, the Lord wants his appearance to be a surprise. "I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what hour I will come to you," Jesus said in Revelation 3:3. So it's not surprising that the Bible is opaque on this question. Moreover, insight into the Rapture has been concealed since the time of Daniel. "But as for you, Daniel, conceal these words and seal up the book until the end of time." It was the decision of God himself to seal up the insight he gave to Daniel. But the words have recently been unsealed, because WE ARE AT THE TIME OF THE END. I highly recommend this video by Jonathan Kleck about Daniel 12:

The Unrolled Scroll

Below are some verses in Scripture that testify to the Rapture, when Jesus rescues his saints.

Revelation 3:10-11
Because you have kept the word of My perseverance, I also will keep you from the hour of testing, that hour which is about to come upon the whole world*, to test those who dwell on the earth. I am coming quickly.

* This is the Rapture! Those who persevere in the faith will be spared the time of testing coming upon the world.

Luke 21:34-36
Be on guard, so that your hearts will not be weighted down with dissipation and drunkenness and the worries of life, and that day will not come on you suddenly like a trap; for it will come upon all those who dwell on the face of all the earth. But keep on the alert at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that are about to take place*, and to stand before the Son of Man.

* This is the rapture! It is an escape from cataclysmic events Jesus describes in the section prior to this verse. Who escapes? Those who stay on the alert, praying and maintaining their relationship with the Lord.

Matthew 24:36-41
But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone. For the coming of the Son of Man will be just like the days of Noah. For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and they did not understand until the flood came and took them all away; so will the coming of the Son of Man be. Then there will be two men in the field; one will be taken and one will be left. Two women will be grinding at the mill; one will be taken and one will be left.*

* This is the Rapture! Note the comparison to the days of Noah, when Noah and his family were saved in the ark from the wrath of God poured out on earth. God promised no more floods. This time it will be fire.

No one knows the day or the hour. Life at the time may seem almost normal. Eating, drinking, marrying, and then Jesus comes! Two people at work, one a believer and the other not, one taken into the air and the other left behind. Then comes judgment on earth.

Daniel 12:1
Now at that time Michael, the great prince who stands guard over the sons of your people, will arise. And there will be a time of distress such as never occurred since there was a nation until that time; and at that time your people, everyone who is found written in the book, will be rescued.*

* This is the Rapture! At the time of distress, everyone whose name is written in the Book of Life will be rescued. The word "rescue" in Hebrew implies a "slippery escape." We will be rescued right as all hell is breaking loose.

Daniel 12:11
And from the time that the daily sacrifice is taken away*, and the abomination of desolation is set up, there shall be one thousand two hundred and ninety days. Blessed is he who waits, and comes to the one thousand three hundred and thirty-five days.

* This is the Rapture! In the age before the coming of the Messiah, the temple was a building in Jerusalem dedicated to the worship of God. In the end times, which is the era between the first and second comings of Christ, the temple is the human body. The moment Jesus died on the cross, the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom and the earth shook. This event signified God's presence and power would no longer dwell in a temple in Jerusalem. Instead, God's Spirit would dwell in our bodies. Jesus talked extensively about how the Holy Spirit would come and lead and empower us. At Pentecost this was fulfilled dramatically and continues to present. The Apostle Paul also wrote about how the temple is our body, specifically the bodies of men and women who are born again and in whom the Spirit dwells.

In the age before the coming of the Messiah, the daily sacrifice was in fact a twice-daily burnt offering presented to the Lord in the temple. It paid homage to and symbolized God's continual presence, communion and blessing among the people of Israel. Now, can you guess where the daily sacrifice happens in this age? That's right, the temple which is our bodies. According to 1 Peter 2:5, "You also, as living stones, are being built up as a spiritual house for a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ." And Paul said in Romans 12:1, "Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship." Do you see it? WE ARE THE DAILY SACRIFICE! We who are born again in the Spirit are the daily sacrifice in the temple of our bodies. The removal of the daily sacrifice is the Rapture! When all of God's people are removed, there will be nothing left but darkness in the world, nothing but unregenerated humans separated from God and directly influenced by the spiritual forces of darkness, namely, Satan and his cohort. This is the abomination that causes desolation!

From the time the daily sacrifice is removed and the abomination is set up, there will be about three and a half years until the end of the age, when Jesus comes as a Warrior King for the Battle of Armageddon and establishes his throne on earth for a thousand-year reign. Then will come the Sabbath rest of creation. After laboring for 6,000 years under the fall of man and dominion of Satan, creation will rest for 1,000 years under the righteous kingship of Jesus Christ.

Revelation 12:7-9 and 13-14
And there was war in heaven, Michael and his angels waging war with the dragon. The dragon and his angels waged war, and they were not strong enough, and there was no longer a place found for them in heaven. And the great dragon was thrown down, the serpent of old who is called the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him...

And when the dragon saw that he was thrown down to the earth, he persecuted the woman who gave birth to the male child. But the two wings of the great eagle were given to the woman, so that she could fly into the wilderness to her place*, where she was nourished for a time and times and half a time, from the presence of the serpent

* This is the Rapture! By reading all of Revelation 12, you can see the woman represents God's people or the church (ecclesia), the male child is Christ and the dragon is Satan. Long ago Satan was evicted from the third heaven where God's throne is, and today Satan occupies a lower rung of heaven. This is why he is also called prince of the power of the air. The day is coming when Satan and his fallen angels will be thrown all the way down to earth. He will then pursue God's people with a frenetic vengeance. But at that moment, the church will be given "two wings of a great eagle" and fly away. This is The Rapture!

Times, time and half a time is poetic way of saying three and a half years, which is the duration of Satan's one-world beast government. At the end of this time, the saints in heaven will return, riding in Jesus' army on the day of the Lord for the Battle of Armageddon. But don't worry, you will have supernatural immortal bodies for this battle! More on this later.
