The Final Witness in the Heavens

Tomorrow, April 8, 2024, will be the third noontime eclipse to cross the US in a seven-year period. The first was on Aug 21, 2017, at the time of summer harvest. Five days later Hurricane Harvey hit Texas with the greatest flooding in US history. A month later was the Las Vegas shooting, leaving many dead bodies. The eclipse last October 2023 started in Oregon and exited Texas into the gulf. The last city in its shadow was Corpus Christi (Latin for?), which it crossed at exactly 12:00 noon and zero seconds. Tomorrow’s eclipse will enter the US at Eagle Pass, Texas, and will block the sun at its solar zenith over that state, which is the moment in the day the ancient Hebrews called noon. I believe the key to the meaning of all this is Amos chapter 8, for those who have ears to hear it.

"Every fact must be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses." - 2 Corinthians 13:1
